Collecting digital art

This winter I focused on digital installations.

So, during Art Basel week in Miami, I had explored contemporary shows to find a digital art.

Not too many Artists are performing with video art in the US yet. The cost of the disk with digital composition (screen not included) was around 10 – 15K. After a purchasing, I just have to find safe clouds to maintain my file, what is cheaper than storage for paintings with all additional expenses, and enjoying my art whenever I want.

Apparently, It takes time when we switch our minds to the way of digital collecting. I am sure that craft and digital art will live in parallel very soon. A new generation of collectors can’t live without technologies the reason; they work with information differently, and movement is crucial for them.

As for now, I have only one concern that video art is overpriced.
