Nostalgia

It was a great idea to mix elements from different times, creating a timeline of sorts from the past to the present.

Iconic vintage pieces of art and furniture often define an era and play an important role in the character of the space. My goal  was to evoke pleasant memories and associations with France and Polynesia to create a familiar and conformable modern home.

I used very warm colors, natural wood, and patterns to make this space livable and cozy.
